SS21 - The Girlfriend’s Reaction Upon Discovering Her Boyfriend Is Napping in the Clubroom

“It’s already this late… Yamato-kun must’ve been bored waiting for me.” Yuzu muttered as she checked the time on her smartphone while rushing down the corridor.

When school ended today, Yuzu was stalled by her friends making her late to come to the literature clubroom. Yuzu, who held her friendships dear, couldn’t possibly turn down her friends. Yamato also understood this, but still… This made Yuzu somehow feel sorry towards Yamato.

“Yamato-kun, I’m here. Sorry to be late… Eh?” As soon as she entered, she realized something was off.

Yamato was not playing a game; he was propped up on a table, asleep.

“He must be bored to sleep when waiting for me.”

Along with that thought, she couldn’t help feeling sorry…but at the same time, the desire to cause mischief was bubbling up inside her.

“This reminds me, in the end, he didn’t send his photo to me, so I better take some while I can now, hehe.”

Yuzu took out her smartphone and snapped some photos. He was anxious whether the shutter sound would wake him, but Yamato was sleeping heavily, he didn’t move an inch.

“Hmm, until what point will he actually wake up?”

Driven by a heart of mischief, she softly reached a finger towards Yamato’s face. She tried poking his cheek; it felt squishy.

“Surprisingly, he got a marshmallow soft cheek… I’m jelly.”

The strangely addictive sensation made her poke him again and again.

“Hn…”

Oops, she might’ve overdone it, Yamato grunted a little.

“…!”

She hurriedly retracted her finger and Yamato-kun returned to sleep peacefully.

“Phew… That startled me!”

Yuzu reminded herself not to touch the latter until he was in deep sleep again.

“But…”

When he sleeps like this, he looks so innocent. Yet, when awake, Yamato-kun always has that sullen look; he would make an annoyed face, or contorts his face in a depressing manner, or sighs in displeasure.

“…Eh? When Yamato-kun is with me, his face is always stern than not, isn’t it?” Yuzu just realised a fact that gave her a complicated feeling.

“But well… He’s just tsundere like that. Yup.” Yuzu muttered, deluding herself.

However, Yuzu had nothing to do while simply waiting here like this, so she took out some dessert from her bag. She opened a pack of mini doughnuts, and there, an idea struck her.

“…I wonder if he’ll eat this.”

Strike while the iron is hot! Yuzu gently pressed a mini doughnut to Yamato’s lips.

“Mm…yum…” A soft grunt first came, and then the sleeping Yamato reflexively began to eat the doughnut.

“Wah, I felt like I just achieved something great…!”

To see the usually not-so-honest Yamato-kun being fed like this was such a moving experience to Yuzu, like when a stray cat that doesn’t like people lets you stroke its throat.

And then, perhaps because she was so deeply moved, an unexpected situation struck.

“Mm…chomp..”

After Yamato-kun finished eating the mini doughnut, he then chomped on Yuzu’s finger that fed him.

“Eh… Y-Yamato-kun?”

Yuzu stiffened unexpectedly at the unexpected situation. Meanwhile, Yamato softly nibbled Yuzu’s finger.

“Aww…!”

What to do. This is so embarrassing.
